How It Works

It is a shorter release form of nandrolone. Once released, the androgen activates androgen receptors and increases anabolic signalling in muscle. Improved nitrogen retention allows more dietary protein to be incorporated into tissue rather than lost through protein breakdown.

The principal action is an increase in protein retention and lean tissue. Nandrolone studies demonstrate muscular growth, although most controlled human data concern the decanoate preparation and clinical populations. Phenylpropionate changes how quickly exposure rises and falls.

Post Cycle Therapy

A shorter ester still suppresses natural testosterone production. PCT is relevant when exposure to the steroid ends and natural production has not recovered. Phenylpropionate clears sooner than decanoate, but recovery also depends on any other compounds used and the extent of hormonal suppression.

Side Effects

Adverse effects can include water retention, acne, breast symptoms, altered sexual function and reduced sperm production. Unfavourable lipid changes, increased hematocrit and higher blood pressure also occur. Androgenic effects in women include facial hair growth and voice changes. Individual responses vary.
