How It Works
The active compound in this pen is semaglutide. By stimulating GLP-1 receptors, it changes appetite signalling in the brain, making hunger less intense and fullness more pronounced. Lower calorie intake then produces the energy deficit responsible for weight reduction.
Satiety, Craving Control and Body Weight
The medicine increases satiety and reduces the frequency and strength of food cravings. Clinical studies show lower food intake and body weight with these changes. The pen changes the delivery presentation, while semaglutide produces the appetite effect.
- Increasing satiety after eating.
- Reducing the drive to eat between meals.
- Reducing cravings and voluntary calorie intake.
- Producing weight reduction that includes fat loss.
Post Cycle Therapy
The medicine in the pen does not require PCT directed at LH, FSH or natural testosterone production. Its withdrawal can change hunger and weight maintenance, which is distinct from recovery after androgen suppression.
Side Effects
Nausea, vomiting, altered bowel habits, abdominal discomfort and reflux are possible. Serious concerns include pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, severe gastric symptoms and dehydration related kidney injury. Some weight loss comes from lean tissue. Rare vision loss from NAION and labelled thyroid tumour precautions are also relevant. Hypoglycemia risk increases with insulin or insulin releasing medicines.
