How It Works

The steroid increases muscle protein synthesis through androgen receptor activity. Human research has also shown improved reuse of amino acids inside muscle cells. The result is a more favourable balance between protein building and breakdown, allowing greater retention of lean tissue.

The steroid increases lean mass and has improved muscle strength in clinical studies. Its effect on protein retention is relevant to maintaining muscle during calorie restriction and rebuilding tissue after catabolic weight loss. The result still depends on training, food intake and the starting condition of the user.

Post Cycle Therapy

Side Effects

Possible adverse effects include reduced HDL cholesterol, increased LDL cholesterol, liver enzyme elevations, cholestatic liver injury, acne and hormonal suppression. Virilisation can occur in women, and some changes are irreversible. Its comparatively mild androgenic reputation does not predict an individual safety outcome.
