How It Works

It is an orally active DHT derived anabolic steroid. It activates androgen receptors and improves nitrogen balance, favouring the retention of body protein. It also lowers SHBG, although that blood marker alone does not measure how much muscle or strength a person gains.

Lean Tissue and Strength

The steroid is associated with muscle retention and strength during cutting. Its anabolic effect has been demonstrated through improved nitrogen balance in clinical research. Controlled evidence for a specific increase in muscular hardness or athletic strength is limited, so those results cannot be quantified reliably.

Post Cycle Therapy

The oral form can reduce LH and natural testosterone output. PCT is relevant when natural production remains suppressed after a cycle. The absence of aromatization does not determine whether the hormonal axis has recovered; testosterone and gonadotropin recovery do.

Side Effects

Potential effects include pronounced HDL reduction, increased LDL cholesterol, liver injury, acne, hair loss and testosterone suppression. Joint discomfort is reported, and androgen use is associated with tendon injury concerns. Women risk virilisation. Cardiovascular risk increases with unfavourable lipid changes and higher exposure.
