How It Works

It is a synthetic tetrapeptide studied for effects on cellular ageing pathways. In cultured human cells, it has increased telomerase related activity and telomere length. These are observations in experimental cell systems, rather than a demonstrated whole body rejuvenation mechanism in people.

Telomeres and Cellular Ageing Research

The clearest experimental findings concern telomere regulation in cultured cells. Interest in longevity and recovery follows from those findings, but longer life, better sleep, faster muscle recovery and improved athletic performance have not been established for the injectable product.

Post Cycle Therapy

Epitalon does not supply an androgen and has no established indication for steroid PCT. The limited human evidence also leaves its broader endocrine and withdrawal effects insufficiently characterised.

Side Effects

Reliable adverse effect rates and long duration human safety data are not available. Injection reactions and hypersensitivity are possible concerns. Manipulation of cellular growth and telomere pathways is not evidence of clinical safety, particularly when systemic consequences have not been adequately studied.
