How It Works
Turinabol, or dehydrochloromethyltestosterone, is an orally active androgen that stimulates androgen receptors. Its anabolic activity alters protein turnover in favour of tissue retention. The chlorine substitution distinguishes it chemically from methandienone and prevents conversion to estrogen through aromatase.
Lean Mass and Training Strength
Turinabol's performance reputation centres on lean tissue and gradual strength progression. Its androgen receptor activity provides the biological basis for these aims, while controlled studies have not established predictable strength or muscle gains in healthy trained users.
- Producing anabolic androgen receptor activity.
- Favouring protein retention.
- Providing oral delivery of an anabolic androgen.
Post Cycle Therapy
The steroid can suppress natural testosterone production. PCT is considered after exposure when the hormonal axis has not recovered. Persistent metabolites detected in urine do not by themselves establish continuing anabolic activity or define a PCT start point. Recovery is assessed through hormone function.
Side Effects
Possible effects include liver enzyme elevations, cholestatic injury, reduced HDL cholesterol, increased LDL cholesterol, acne, hair loss and reduced fertility. Natural testosterone output can fall. The lack of aromatization does not prevent these androgen related or liver related effects.
