How It Works
The peptide affects several repair related pathways in preclinical studies. Research in rat tendon cells shows increased cell migration, spreading and survival under stress, involving the FAK and paxillin signalling pathway. Other experiments show increased growth hormone receptor expression in tendon fibroblasts.
Tendon and Muscle Recovery Research
Animal and cell studies report improved repair related activity in tendons, muscles and other tissues. These findings explain the focus on injury recovery among lifters. Human evidence remains small and uncontrolled, so faster healing, a reliable recovery timeframe or improved training performance have not been established.
- Increasing tendon fibroblast migration in laboratory research.
- Improving cell survival under experimental stress.
- Investigating repair outcomes in animal injury models.
Post Cycle Therapy
BPC-157 is not an androgen and has no established steroid PCT requirement. Available human data are too limited to define all endocrine effects, but there is no evidence based PCT protocol for the peptide itself.
Side Effects
Human adverse effect frequency and long duration safety are not established. Injection reactions, hypersensitivity and contamination are possible risks. The limited clinical reports are insufficient to exclude uncommon or delayed systemic effects.
